What this gets you
- You get a talent pool that keeps itself up to date. Contacts join when they match and drop out when they no longer do.
- You don’t maintain tags by hand, which are rigid and go stale.
- Your best segments are one click away, pinned under the toolbar.
Steps
- Open Contacts and set your filters.
- Choose Save this search and give it a name. If the name exists, Jobin asks before it overwrites it.
- Pin the search so it sits one click away under the toolbar in Pinned searches.
- Open the saved-searches list whenever you want to use it. Search the list by name.
- Refresh the data with Update profiles when freshness matters, so the results stay current.
Tips
- Pro tip: use a saved search or a job’s ideal candidate profile for talent pools, instead of tags. Tags are rigid, while a saved search adds contacts when they start to match and drops them when they no longer do.
Ideas to get more from it
- Create a saved search for each kind of role you hire for, such as a role family or seniority.
- Refresh the contacts with Update profiles before a campaign, so the pool reflects current data.
- Use a job’s ideal candidate profile as a talent pool for that role.
