What this gets you
- Replies land in the right pipeline stage without anyone sorting them.
- You get tags to filter on later, such as warm lead.
- Positive and negative replies are counted correctly in your analytics.
Steps
- Open the sequence and open Reply Identification.
- Pick the reply type, for example Interested.
- Choose the Pipeline action, then select the pipeline, the stage, and the sub-stage if you use them. Jobin asks you to select a pipeline if you leave it empty.
- Add Tag as well to label the contact, for example with warm lead.
- Set the Reply reporting category (Positive, Negative, or Unclassified) so your analytics stay correct, then save.
Tips
- Prefer the stage rule when you want every job’s pipeline to follow the same events. Use the Pipeline action when a specific reply type, such as a referral, should land in a specific stage.
- Add the Tag action alone if you only want to label replies, or choose Nothing to just categorize them.
Ideas to get more from it
- Move Not interested replies to Rejected and tag the reason.
- Tag Maybe - Later replies with the month to follow up.
- Use a custom referral reply type and move it to a Referrals stage.
