To track client deals, open Deals in the sidebar, create a sales pipeline from a template, and add a deal for each opportunity. Drag deals through the stages, then mark them won or lost.

What this gets you

  • One board for every client opportunity, with the stage, value, and next task on each card.
  • A forecast: open value weighted by each stage’s win probability.
  • Alerts for deals that have gone quiet, before they are lost.

Steps

  1. Open Deals in the sidebar, under Sales.
  2. Choose Create pipeline and pick a template: Sales pipeline, Executive search, or Account development.
  3. Adjust the stages, set a win probability for each, and set an inactivity alert in days. Save the pipeline.
  4. Choose New Deal. Describe the opportunity, choose the client account, and add the expected value, currency, win probability, and estimated close date. Add the people involved.
  5. Open the deal and add its stakeholders with their roles, such as Hiring manager or Economic buyer.
  6. Log notes and tasks on the deal’s Activity, and drag the deal to the next stage as it moves forward.
  7. When it closes, choose Mark won, or Mark lost with a reason.
  8. For a won deal, use Link existing Job or Create internal Job to start recruiting.

Ideas to get more from it

  • Save the filters you check every week, such as your own deals closing this month, as a saved view.
  • Associate client meetings with the deal, so AI meeting preparation knows the commercial context.
  • Use the Business development reports to see your win rate and why deals are lost.
