To import contacts from Gmail, Outlook, Apple, Hotmail, or Yahoo, export your address book as a CSV file, then import that file into Jobin from Contact Lists.

What this gets you

  • Your personal network, such as past candidates and clients, becomes searchable CRM data.
  • You import once from a CSV file, with the same mapping and tagging as any other CSV import.

Steps

  1. Open More > Sourcing > Contact Lists.
  2. Choose your provider and follow its instructions to export your contacts as a CSV file.
  3. Import the CSV file into Jobin. See How to import contacts from a CSV file.
  4. Map the columns and start the import.

Ideas to get more from it

  • Tag the whole import as your network, then run a re-engagement sequence on it.
  • After importing, let auto-update fetch fresh profile data for the contacts that have a profile link.
