What this gets you
- You only enrich people who are actually in the sequence, so you don’t spend credits on contacts you’ll never message.
- A condition after it means contacts you couldn’t enrich don’t silently fall through.
- You decide what happens to them: a notification, a manual task, a tag, or the end of the sequence.
Steps
- Add an Enrich Email & Phone step before the email or SMS action.
- Choose what to find: email, phone, or both. For email, choose whether to look for work or private addresses.
- Add a Condition right after it. Use Has email (or Has mobile phone for SMS) set to Must have, and match the email type to your enrichment.
- Put the outreach on the True path.
- On the False path, choose what happens to contacts you couldn’t enrich: Notify yourself or a colleague, create a Task to find the details by hand, Assign a tag such as needs email for later review, or end the sequence.
Tips
- Pro tip: always follow enrichment with a condition. Enrichment doesn’t always find what you asked for, and the condition lets you decide what to do either way.
Ideas to get more from it
- On the False path, create a task for yourself so someone finds the email by hand.
- Assign a tag such as needs email, then review those contacts later.
- Notify a colleague when a high-priority contact has no email.
