To build a candidate scorecard, open the Scorecard Builder for the job, pick criteria from the preset library or add your own, weight each by importance, and save.

What this gets you

  • Candidates are evaluated on the same criteria, so comparisons are fair and consistent.
  • Weighted criteria show what matters most.
  • Scores feed the comparison view and reports.

Steps

  1. Open the job’s scorecard criteria: Default Scorecard Criteria in the Client Portal Control Panel, or the Scorecard Builder tab in the portal.
  2. Pick criteria from the Preset Criteria Library, or Add Custom Criteria and describe what each one evaluates.
  3. Weight each criterion: Critical (9-10), High Priority (7-8), Standard (5-6), or Low Priority (1-4).
  4. Check the Scorecard Preview.
  5. Save. Clients and hiring managers then score candidates in Candidate Evaluation.

Tips

  • Give a client the Manage scorecard permission to let them build it, and Compile scorecard to let them fill it in.

Ideas to get more from it

  • Start from the preset library, and add one or two criteria specific to the role.
  • Let the hiring manager build the scorecard when they know the role best.
