Enrichment fills in the details a contact is missing, such as email addresses and phone numbers, so you can reach them on the right channel.
  1. Refresh first (optional). If the data may be stale, refresh the profiles with Live profile update so the results are current. See Refresh profile data.
  2. Choose your method once. Pick the workspace’s preferred enrichment method, and set up Waterfall Enrichment if you use your own providers.
  3. Select who needs it. Filter Contacts to the people you actually plan to contact, then select them.
  4. Enrich. In the bulk actions, choose Find and enrich > Enrich email / phone.
  5. Keep working. Enrichment runs in the background. A progress indicator shows on each profile.
  6. Check the result. If nothing more was found, the profile says so.
  7. Do it inside outreach. Put an Enrich Email & Phone step before email and SMS actions in a sequence, so you only enrich contacts you will really contact. Follow it with a Condition (such as Has email) so contacts it couldn’t enrich take a different path. See the enrichment pro tip.
  8. Keep an eye on credits. Review Credits and usage regularly.

Enrich contacts

  • From Contacts. Select contacts, then choose Enrich email / phone from the bulk actions under Find and enrich.
  • From a profile. Request enrichment on a contact’s profile.
  • Inside a sequence. Add an enrichment step before an outreach action. See Smart sequences.
Enrichment can continue in the background. You can close the enrichment dialog without cancelling it and keep working. The profile shows a persistent progress indicator, refreshes its data automatically when new information arrives, and shows a separate result when no additional data is found.

Choose your enrichment method

Workspaces can select a preferred contact enrichment method. A guided setup lets you compare the methods and preview the options before you confirm. The method you save becomes the workspace default for your team, and it affects data quality and the credits enrichment uses. For finer control, configure Waterfall enrichment under Settings > Data enrichment. It lets you connect providers and set the order Jobin queries them. See Waterfall Enrichment.

Refresh profile data

Contact details change, so you can refresh profiles in bulk at any time. Select contacts, or select everyone who matches your current filter or saved search, then open the bulk actions and choose Live profile update:
  • Update profiles refreshes each contact’s profile data.
  • Update + contact info also refreshes contact details. It’s slower and rate limited, so use it mainly for your 1st connections. You can adjust the limit in the Throttle dashboard.
Both run through a connected social account. A large update can take a long time. If you’re refreshing thousands of contacts, lower its priority in the Operations monitor so it doesn’t hold up your other work. If you haven’t linked a default one, Jobin asks you to before it starts. The work runs as operations you can follow in the Operations monitor. This is also why you don’t need to import career details from a spreadsheet. See the CSV import pro tip. Fresh data keeps your saved searches and a job’s Ideal Candidate Profile accurate, because they filter on your current data.

Keep company data fresh

When you open a contact’s Current Company tab, Jobin refreshes company information that’s more than a month old, and enriches the company when employee-count data is missing.

Track what enrichment uses

Enrichment uses shared credits. The credits and usage report shows how many credits went to enrichment and the enrichment results they produced.
