What you’ll do
1. Create the sequence
1
Click Add sequence
Open Sequences in the sidebar and click Add sequence to open the sequence picker.
2
Choose Blank sequence
Choose Blank sequence to start a safe draft with no contacts enrolled, then create it. Nothing is sent.
3
Add your first action
Click the (+) below the prospects card and choose any action from Outreach.
4
Add your second action
Click the (+) at the end of your sequence and choose a second outreach action.
Jobin automatically adds a Wait action between outreach actions.
2. Set it up
1
Verify your sender accounts
Open Senders, then Manage senders, to check the accounts this sequence will send from. Verify a sender account for each
channel your sequence uses. If none is connected, choose Connect a sender. Save any changes, then close Manage senders.
2
Link your sequence to a job
Select a job in Linked job. Every contact this sequence contacts, and everyone who replies, is tracked in that job
automatically. Expand Sequence settings if you don’t see it.
3
Complete the Wait action
The automatic Wait shows as Incomplete because it still needs configuration. Open it, set how long Jobin should
wait between outreach actions, and click Save changes.
4
Fix any remaining issues
Click Fix issues at the top right to highlight what needs attention. Open each incomplete action, complete its
settings, and save, until the sequence shows Ready to start.
3. Launch it
1
Assign people
Click Assign people to choose contacts for outreach, or open Contacts and select a contact.
2
Open Outreach
With a contact selected, click Outreach on the action bar.
3
Choose your sequence
Choose Saved sequences, then select your sequence. Review its messages and sender accounts.
4
Launch
Click Launch sequence to enroll the contact and start outreach. Resolve any setup issues shown before launching.
4. Track progress
1
Monitor the Op. Queue
Open Op. Queue in the sidebar to watch your sequence’s progress and any queued operations.
2
See it on Jobs
Open Jobs. By default, linking a sequence moves assigned, contacted, and replying contacts into the matching stages of the
linked job’s pipeline, so you can see how the sequence is doing.
What you’ll have afterwards
- A sequence with two outreach actions and a wait between them.
- A job linked to it, so contacts are tracked as they move through outreach.
- A contact enrolled and receiving outreach.
Tips
- Verify senders before you launch. Jobin warns you if a channel your sequence uses has no connected sender.
- Link a job so you don’t have to track replies by hand.
- You can keep improving a sequence after launch. Edit messages and conditions, and add steps at the bottom. Changes only reach contacts who haven’t been queued yet. See Sequences.
- Connecting a Microsoft account with email provides an email sender. See Connect Microsoft.
