Tasks keep your follow-ups from slipping. A task can be a to-do or a call, linked to a candidate, a job, or neither. Open them from Tasks in the sidebar.
  1. Capture the follow-up. Choose Add task on a contact’s profile, or Quick add > Task anywhere. Set the date, time, and details.
  2. Organize it. Set the priority and assignee, and add it to a queue.
  3. Start work from a queue. Choose Overdue or All open and work through them one by one.
  4. Finish or skip. Mark each task done, or skip to the next.
  5. Review daily. Filter to what’s due today, then check Overdue.
  6. Clean up. Use bulk actions to complete, reassign, or delete tasks.

Create a task

  • From a contact. Choose Add task in the profile header. The task links to the contact automatically, and you set the date, time, and details without leaving the profile.
  • From the Tasks page. Choose Add task, or use Quick add > Task anywhere.
  • From a sequence. A sequence can create a task when a person needs to follow up.
When you open a contact with unfinished tasks, they appear right away so you can work through them without leaving the profile.

The task list

The task list is a table you can search, sort by due date, filter, and customize.
  • Columns. Status, priority, assignee, date and time, description, candidate, job, sub-stage, location, meeting link, and more. Edit the candidate, job, or date and time right in the row.
  • Filters. Filter by assignment, job pipeline and stage, source, date range, and time range. Pending tasks show by default, and you can include completed ones.
  • Open a task. Expand it to see the details, and step through the previous and next tasks.
  • Bulk actions. Select tasks to mark them done or pending, assign them to a queue, remove them from a queue, export them, or delete them.

Task queues

Queues group tasks so a team can split the work.
  • The built-in queues are All open, Overdue, and Upcoming.
  • Create a queue from the queue bar, or while you schedule a task. A task you create that way goes straight into the new queue.
  • Start working from a queue: choose all queues, one queue, or unassigned tasks. Mark each task done, or skip to the next one.
