Authentication Model

All public Jobin API endpoints use an API key in the x-api-key header.

Create An API Key

Create keys in the Jobin app:
  1. Open Jobin integrations.
  2. Select the Custom integration tab.
  3. Click Create new API key.
  4. Enter a label that identifies the calling system.
  5. Copy the generated key because it may only be shown once.

Validate API Key

Use GET /auth/validate as the first call in a new integration, health checks, and setup flows. The response confirms whether the key is accepted and returns Jobin-specific auth guidance for the public API surface.
