# Sending accounts and limits

> Connect your social, email, and phone accounts, set safe daily limits, and control how Jobin sends.

Jobin sends outreach from your own accounts. The **Throttle dashboard** is where you connect them, see how much each has done today, and set
limits that keep your accounts safe. Open it from **More** > **Workspace** > **Throttle dashboard**, or from **Settings** > **Messaging & sequences**
(**Email accounts**, **Social accounts**, **Phone numbers**).

## Recommended workflow

1. **Connect the account.** Connect a social account through the browser extension, or an email account with your provider's details.
2. **Check what it can do.** Review the detected account type and any warnings, such as limits on invitation notes or InMail.
3. **Keep the recommended limits.** Raise a limit only when you need to, and only after confirming you understand the risk.
4. **Set operating times.** Choose when automated operations may run.
5. **Turn on human-like speed** to space out emails.
6. **Share it if the team needs it.** Allow sending on behalf, and decide who can see the inbox messages.
7. **Set tracking.** Turn open and click tracking on for senders where you want engagement reports.
8. **Use it in a sequence.** Choose the sender in the [sequence](/sequences.md) and check the launch preview.

## Connect an account

### Social account

1. Make sure the Jobin browser extension is active.
2. Open the social network and sign in to the account you want.
3. Return to Jobin while it finishes connecting the account.

If the account connected in your browser differs from your current setup, Jobin helps you choose how to use it: make it your default for
social operations, keep your previous default, or claim an account assigned to another Jobin user.

### Enable an additional social account

An additional identity shows **Not enabled in this workgroup** only while both its extension and its owner's different primary identity are online. An owner or admin can choose **Enable** to assign an available prepaid social-only seat to that identity, including a shared account. Offline or legacy sessions without a known online primary do not show this action.

An enabled add-on shows **Add-on plan purchased**. Its licence stays assigned when the extension disconnects or the primary account changes. To release it, open that account's three-dot menu and choose **Remove licence**. Deleting the connected account also releases its licences automatically. This makes the purchased seat available again; it does not cancel the subscription. Sending stops unless the account has coverage through a user seat.

Manage account licences here. The **Members** page lists people and shows aggregate seat usage, with a hover explanation of user assignments and account licences. In **Subscription**, use add-on seat management to adjust an existing social-only quantity independently of the bundle. Reductions apply at renewal after the required assignments have been removed.

### Email account

Choose how to connect the mailbox:

* **Gmail / Google Workspace.** Connect with your mailbox credentials or an app password.
* **Microsoft 365 / Outlook.** Continue with Microsoft authorization.
* **IMAP / SMTP.** Any provider with SMTP credentials.
* **SMTP-only provider.** Services such as Mailgun, SendGrid, or Amazon SES.

For SMTP, you'll enter the server details and, if your provider needs it, an app password. Add an inbound (IMAP) mailbox as well, or
reply detection is disabled for campaigns when you use outbound SMTP only.

### Phone numbers

Manage phone numbers and calling limits from the same dashboard.

## Limits and safety

* **Operation limits.** Each account has daily limits per operation type: invitations, direct messages, InMails, profile imports, and
imports with contact information. The dashboard shows recommended limits and today's usage. Choose **Reset to recommended** to undo changes.
To go above a recommended limit, you must confirm that you understand the risks.
* **Account type.** Jobin recognizes the account's plan, such as Free, Premium, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter, and shows what it can do.
It warns you before you send, for example when a free account is used for an invitation with a note, or when an InMail needs a
  license the account doesn't have.
* **Operating timeframes.** Choose the times when automated operations may run, as a workgroup default or for yourself.
* **Human-like speed.** Add random delays between emails to avoid bursts of sending.

## Share accounts with your team

Switch between your personal accounts and shared accounts. For each sender you can:

* **Allow sending on behalf**, so teammates can run operations with this sender.
* **Show all inbox messages**, so teammates can see workgroup messages for this sender.
* Set it as a default sender.

## Email tracking

Turn open tracking and link-click tracking on or off separately for each email sender. If tracking is off, Jobin tells you in your
[sequence reports](/sequence-analytics.md), because engagement can look lower than it really is.

## Queues and priority

Each connected social account and each email sender has its own operation queue, so heavy work on one account doesn't wait behind another account's. Within a queue, operations run by priority. See [Operations monitor](/operations-monitor.md#how-operations-are-queued).

## Stay ahead of problems

Jobin alerts you when a social or email account has disconnected, when the browser extension needs attention, and when it finds duplicate
contacts it couldn't merge. See [Duplicates and merging](/duplicates-and-merging.md). You can snooze dismissible alerts for 12 hours. If a sender is disabled, the [Operations monitor](/operations-monitor.md) shows you
where to turn it back on.
