# Jobs

> Manage your open roles in the Jobs workspace: find, filter, order, and assign them to recruiters.

A **job** is an open role you're filling, with its candidates, pipeline, and public listing. Open the workspace from **Jobs** in the sidebar.

## Watch it live

## Recommended workflow

1. **Create the job** with the [job builder](/job-builder.md).
2. **Assign recruiters.** Add one or more recruiters so ownership is clear.
3. **Make a working view.** Filter by assigned recruiter and status, and choose the view (card, table, or split) you prefer.
4. **Prioritize.** Use **Custom order** to drag the most urgent roles to the top of the shared list.
5. **Keep deadlines visible.** Filter by closing-deadline status and vacancies to spot roles that need attention.
6. **Work the pipeline.** Open a job to move candidates through its stages. See [Job pipelines](/job-pipelines.md).
7. **Check your clients.** Use the **Employers list** to see every client with open jobs.

## Views

Switch between **Card**, **Table**, and **Split** views. Split view shows the job list beside the selected job's details. Your preferred view and table layout are stored with your Jobin account, so they follow you across browsers.

Choose whether a job's details open as soon as you select it under **Settings** > **Appearance** > **Details sidebar**. See
[Your settings](/settings.md).

## Find a job

Search by job title, then narrow the list with filters:

* **People and clients.** Employer, owner, and assigned recruiter.
* **Status and dates.** Status, publication state, closing-deadline status and deadline, created, and updated.
* **Vacancies.** Jobs with open vacancies, or within a vacancy range.
* **Role details.** Employment type, remote work, salary, skills, industries, department, locations, and tags.

Combine as many filters as you like.

## Order and assign

* **Custom order.** Drag jobs into an order shared by the whole workspace. Other sorting options stay available when you don't want manual ordering.
* **Assign recruiters.** Assign one or more recruiters to a job. Their names show in the Jobs table and in the job's details, and you can filter the list by recruiter.

## The header

* **Create job** starts the [job builder](/job-builder.md).
* **Employers list** shows your clients with open jobs. See [Accounts and employers](/accounts.md).
* **Client portals** opens [Portal management](/client-portal.md).
* **Global branding** and **Copy career page link** set up and share your public career page.

## Open a job

Open a job to see its pipeline, brief, and details. The pipeline is the board where candidates move through your hiring stages.
See [Job pipelines](/job-pipelines.md).
