# How to use ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex with Jobin

> Search contacts, review candidates, manage sequences and pipelines, and get analytics by chatting with your AI assistant, once it's connected to Jobin MCP.

To use ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex with Jobin, connect your assistant to Jobin MCP, then ask it to search contacts, review profiles, and work with sequences and pipelines.

Jobin MCP connects your AI assistant to your Jobin workspace, so you can work with recruiting data through conversation
instead of switching between tools.

## What this gets you

* You work with your recruiting data in plain language, in the assistant you already use.
* It can find and review contacts, prepare outreach, keep records current with your approval, and report on sequences.
* Your permissions decide which actions are available, and write actions need your approval.

## What it does

Once connected, your assistant can:

* **Find and review contacts.** Search saved candidates and leads, and review profiles, notes, documents, and activity.
* **Source new candidates.** Search external people sources. Each search needs paid-search approval in Jobin.
* **Keep records current.** Create, import, and update contacts; manage tags and notes; request enrichment with approval.
* **Prepare outreach.** Read contact timelines and use profile context to draft personalized outreach ideas.
* **Manage follow-ups.** Review open or completed tasks and create tasks or calls with approval.
* **Work with sequences.** Find sequences, review their steps, add or remove contacts with approval, and inspect performance.
* **Manage pipelines.** Assign contacts to job pipeline stages or move them between stages.
* **Review analytics.** Run agency reports and check queued background work.

Your connection's permissions decide which of these are available. Read access lets your assistant retrieve information.
Write access lets it carry out changes with your approval.

## Manage your MCP tokens

If you use an MCP token, it appears on the **API Keys** tab with a **Read** badge, plus **Write** if you granted it.
