# How to manage your connected Google and Microsoft accounts

> Keep your calendar and email connections healthy: reconnect an expired account, sync on demand, share it with another workgroup, or disconnect it.

To manage a connected Google or Microsoft account, open the **Integrations** page, find the account under **Workspace connections**, and use its **⋯** menu to sync it, reconnect it, share it with a workgroup, or disconnect it.

**Workspace connections** sit at the top of the **All Integrations** tab. Connect a provider account once, then reuse it
across Jobin workflows. This page covers managing accounts after you've connected them.

| Provider | What it covers |
| - | - |
| **Google** | Calendar. |
| **Microsoft** | Email and calendar. One consent covers both, or you can connect email only. |

## What this gets you

* Your calendar and email connections keep working, because you can reconnect an account as soon as its access expires.
* Your team can use one account across workgroups when you share it.
* You can sync on demand when calendar events look out of date.

## Connect an account

Each provider has its own page with what it does and how to connect it:

> **[Connect Google](/connect-google.md)**
>
> Calendar events from Google Calendar.

> **[Connect Microsoft](/connect-microsoft.md)**
>
> Email sending and Outlook calendar events.

To connect another account with the same provider, click **Add account** on its card.

## Account status

Each provider shows one status:

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Connected** | The account is working. |
| **Reconnect needed** | Access expired. Reconnect the account to resume syncing. |
| **Legacy email** | An older email connection. Click **Reconnect** to upgrade it. |
| **Not connected** | No account is connected for this provider yet. |

Accounts that need attention are highlighted. Only the person who owns a connection can reconnect it. Everyone else
sees **Owned by someone else**.

## Manage an account

If you own an account, open its **⋯** menu to:

* **Reconnect** an account that is working, to refresh its access.
* **Sync now** to pull in calendar changes immediately. This appears for accounts that cover calendar.
* **Share with this workgroup** or **Stop sharing here**.
* **Disconnect** the account.

Calendar accounts also show when they last synced, for example "Synced 5 minutes ago".

### Share an account with a workgroup

An account is available in a workgroup only when it's shared with it. If an account isn't shared with the workgroup
you're in, it shows **Not shared here**. Use **Share with this workgroup** to make it available, or **Stop sharing here**
to remove it from this workgroup without disconnecting it elsewhere.

## Troubleshooting

> **An account says Reconnect needed**
>
> The provider's access expired. If you own the account, click **Reconnect** and sign in again. If someone else owns it,
> ask them to reconnect it.

> **I can't see the ⋯ menu**
>
> Only the account's owner can manage it. You'll see **Owned by someone else** instead.

> **An account is connected but doesn't appear in my workgroup**
>
> It may not be shared with this workgroup. Look for **Not shared here** and use **Share with this workgroup**.

> **Calendar events look out of date**
>
> Open the account's **⋯** menu and choose **Sync now**.

## Ideas to get more from it

* If an account shows **Reconnect needed**, reconnect it before you launch a sequence that depends on it.
* Share an account only with the workgroups that need it, and stop sharing when that changes.
