# How to schedule a meeting with a candidate

> Book an interview without leaving your workflow: see availability across your calendars and send the invitation from Jobin.

To schedule a meeting with a candidate, start scheduling from the candidate or recruiting workflow, pick a time from your connected calendars' availability, and confirm the invitation.

## What this gets you

* You book interviews without switching apps.
* Availability across your connected calendars is checked for you.
* The meeting appears next to your tasks, and counts as a sequence outcome when it came from one.

## Before you start

* Connect your Google or Microsoft calendar first. See [How to connect your calendar](/how-to/connect-your-calendar.md).

## Steps

1. Start scheduling from the candidate or the recruiting workflow.
2. Choose the candidate or client contact, and the connected calendar and organizer.
3. Check availability across your connected calendar accounts and choose a time. Confirm it.
4. Confirm the email address the invitation goes to. You can enter a different one.
5. Jobin creates the meeting in your connected calendar and sends the invitation.

## Tips

* You can reschedule or cancel later. Cancelling cancels the connected calendar event too, and Jobin keeps the meeting history.

## Ideas to get more from it

* Schedule straight from a positive reply.
* Check the candidate's earlier meetings in their history before you meet.
