# How to launch a sequence for contacts

> Start outreach for a whole group of contacts at once, with a readiness check that catches missing emails and phone numbers before anything is sent.

To launch a sequence for contacts, select them in **Contacts**, click **Outreach**, choose **Saved sequences**, pick your sequence, review the preview, and click **Launch sequence**.

## What this gets you

* You start outreach for a whole group in one step.
* The preview catches missing emails, phone numbers, and profile problems before they become failed sends.
* Progress is visible in the Operations monitor.

## Before you start

* Launching starts real outreach. Choose contacts you're happy to contact.

## Steps

1. Open **Contacts** and select the contacts you want.
2. Click **Outreach** on the action bar.
3. Choose **Saved sequences** and select your sequence. Review its messages and sender accounts.
4. Check the launch preview. It flags missing email addresses and phone numbers, and checks social profile and connection availability. Fix any blocking errors.
5. Click **Launch sequence** to enroll the contacts and start outreach.
6. Follow progress in **Op. Queue**.

## Tips

* You can also start from the sequence itself with **Assign people**, from AI Search results, or from a contact's **Outreach Sequences** tab.
* To start later, see [How to schedule a sequence to start later](/how-to/schedule-a-sequence-to-start-later.md).

## Ideas to get more from it

* Always read the preview, and fix blocking errors first.
* Start from a saved search, so you launch to a precise, current list.
* Schedule the start for the right moment.
