# How to invite a teammate to your workgroup

> Get your team working in one shared workspace with the right access: invite by email, pick a role and modules, and cap spending if needed.

To invite a teammate, open **More** > **Workspace** > **Members**, enter their email address, choose a role, and assign their modules.

## What this gets you

* Your team works in one shared workspace.
* Roles and modules give each person the right access, and clients can be limited to the Client Portal.
* You can cap what someone spends from the shared credit pool.

## Steps

1. Open **More** > **Workspace** > **Members**, and check that a seat is available.
2. Invite them by email. Press **Enter** or a comma after each address, or paste a list.
3. Choose a role: **Member** (standard access to selected modules), **Admin** (full access, including member management), or **Client** (Client Portal only, no seat needed).
4. Assign the **All In One Suite** or specific modules. When prepaid social-only seats are available, the normal invitation dialog also offers a **Seat type** selector. All-in-One remains selectable with zero available seats; the warning explains that invitees without a seat have restricted access.
5. Optionally set a shared credit limit for them.
6. If the teammate has **No seat**, choose **Add seat**. When prepaid social-only capacity is available, choose a social-only seat or an All-in-One seat. Manage account-bound licences separately in the [Throttle dashboard](/sending-accounts.md).

## Ideas to get more from it

* Invite clients with the **Client** role so they only see the Client Portal.
* Ask new teammates to connect their own sending accounts and calendar.
