# How to import profiles automatically while you browse

> Build your talent pool without clicking import: turn on Auto Import in the Jobin browser extension and every profile you view is saved and kept up to date.

To import profiles automatically while you browse, open the Jobin browser extension and turn on **Auto Import**. Every profile you view on
your social network is then imported into Jobin.

## What this gets you

* Every profile you look at ends up in your CRM, without an extra click.
* Viewing someone again refreshes their record instead of creating a duplicate.
* Your database grows as a side effect of the research you already do.

## Steps

1. [Install the Jobin browser extension](https://docs.jobin.cloud/browser-extension.md) and sign in.
2. Open the extension and turn on **Auto Import**.
3. Optionally choose a job pipeline and tags, so the imported people are easy to find.
4. Browse profiles as usual. Each one you view is imported in full.
5. Open [Contacts](https://docs.jobin.cloud/contacts.md) in Jobin and filter by your tag to see who was added.

## Tips

* Turn **Auto Import** off when you browse for other reasons, so your database stays focused.
* Profiles you view more than once are merged into one contact, with the latest data.

## Ideas to get more from it

* Pick a tag per search session, such as the role you're sourcing for, before you start browsing.
* Follow up with [contact enrichment](https://docs.jobin.cloud/contact-enrichment.md) to add emails and phone numbers.
* Add the new contacts to a [sequence](https://docs.jobin.cloud/sequences.md) the same day.
