# How to find candidates similar to your best contacts

> Turn your best contacts into a search: select a few strong candidates and Jobin builds a filter for similar profiles.

To find candidates similar to your best contacts, select those contacts, open the bulk actions, and choose **Find and enrich** > **Search similar profiles**.

## What this gets you

* You don't have to work out what makes your best candidates good and translate it into filters. Jobin builds the search from them.
* You find more people like the ones who already fit.
* The result is a normal Contacts filter, so you can refine, save, and reuse it.

## Before you start

* You must select the contacts yourself. Selecting everything isn't supported for this action.

## Steps

1. Open **Contacts** and select the contacts you want to use as a model.
2. Open the bulk actions.
3. Under **Find and enrich**, choose **Search similar profiles**.
4. Jobin builds a filter from the contacts you selected and opens Contacts with it applied.
5. Review the results, then save the search if you want to reuse it.

## Ideas to get more from it

* When a new role opens, select the people you placed or loved on similar roles and search for similar profiles.
* Save the resulting search as a [talent pool](/how-to/save-a-search-and-build-a-talent-pool.md).
* Select your top screened candidates and look for more like them.
