# How to bulk import resumes and CVs

> Turn a folder of resumes into searchable candidate records without typing anything, with AI parsing running in the background.

To bulk import resumes and CVs, open **More** > **Sourcing** > **CV Parsing & Import**, upload your files, and Jobin creates a contact for each one while AI parsing runs in the background.

## What this gets you

* A pile of CVs becomes searchable candidate records without any manual data entry.
* You don't wait for each file. Upload, parsing, and profile matching run in the background.
* Tags and a pipeline assignment are applied at import, so the batch is ready to work.

## Steps

1. Open **More** > **Sourcing** > **CV Parsing & Import**.
2. Upload one or many CVs or resumes. Supported formats are PDF, DOC, DOCX, and TXT.
3. Apply the tags and the recruitment pipeline assignment you want for the new contacts.
4. Start the import. Jobin creates the contact records and doesn't make you wait for every CV to finish processing.
5. Open **Contacts** and filter by your tag to review the imported candidates.

## Tips

* Bulk import separates uploading, profile matching, and AI parsing, so you can keep working while it runs.
