# How to add a contact to a sequence from their profile

> Start automated outreach for one contact in seconds, from their profile, and choose where in the sequence they begin.

To add a contact to a sequence from their profile, open the contact's **Outreach Sequences** tab (or **Activity** tab), choose a sequence, and pick whether it starts at the beginning or at a specific stage.

## What this gets you

* You start outreach for a single contact from their profile, with no detour.
* You choose the stage they start at, so someone you've already talked to doesn't get the intro again.
* You see their sequence progress on the same screen.

## Steps

1. Open the contact's profile.
2. Go to the **Outreach Sequences** tab, or choose a sequence from the **Activity** timeline.
3. Choose the sequence.
4. Choose whether it starts at the beginning or at a selected stage.
5. Confirm. The active sequence updates on the profile.

## Tips

* From the same tab you can review upcoming messages, edit eligible ones before they send, or exit the contact from the sequence.
