# How to add a contact from a name or profile link

> Add a candidate in seconds: paste a name or a profile link and Jobin builds the contact without a long form.

To add a contact from a name or profile link, choose **Quick add** > **Contact** and paste a full name or a profile link. Jobin fills in the rest.

## What this gets you

* You capture someone the moment you find them, without filling in a long form.
* A pasted link builds the profile for you, and a pasted name is split into its parts automatically.

## Steps

1. Choose **Quick add** > **Contact**.
2. Paste a full name. Jobin splits it into title, first, middle, and last name.
3. Or paste a profile link. Jobin recognizes common professional and social profile links and builds a profile from them.
4. Review the details and save the contact.

## Ideas to get more from it

* Keep Quick add handy while you browse, and add promising people as you go.
* Follow it with **Assign to Job** to put the new contact straight into a pipeline.
