# Getting started

> Learn Jobin with guided tutorials, starting with three recommended first steps: find candidates, create a job, and launch outreach.

New to Jobin? Start with the three tutorials below. Each one walks you through a real task in your own workspace, so you finish
with something you can keep using, not a practice exercise.

## Your first three steps

Jobin recommends this order. It takes about 15 minutes in total.

> **[1. Find candidates with AI](/first-ai-search.md)**
>
> **2 minutes.** Describe the role you're hiring for, shortlist candidates, and see how outreach starts.
> Needs AI Search access.

> **[2. Create and set up a job](/first-job.md)**
>
> **About 3 minutes.** Build a job with AI, then tailor its hiring workflow with your own stages.
> Needs Jobs access.

> **[3. Create an outreach sequence](/first-sequence.md)**
>
> **About 10 minutes.** Build and launch a two-action sequence, link it to a job, and track your outreach.
> Needs Outreach access.

Each tutorial is available only if your workspace has access to that area of Jobin.

## A typical recruiting loop

Once you've done the first three steps, most of your work follows this loop. Each step links to its guide.

1. **Source.** Find candidates with [AI Search](/ai-search.md), or [import them](/import-candidates.md) from your network, CVs, or a spreadsheet.
2. **Organize.** Keep them in [Contacts](/contacts.md), label them with [tags and custom fields](/tags-and-custom-fields.md), and [enrich](/contact-enrichment.md) missing emails and phone numbers.
3. **Open the role.** [Create a job](/job-builder.md) for the client's [account](/accounts.md), with its [pipeline](/job-pipelines.md).
4. **Reach out.** Launch a [sequence](/sequences.md) linked to the job, from [connected sending accounts](/sending-accounts.md).
5. **Converse.** Answer replies in the [Inbox](/inbox.md), and keep follow-ups in [Tasks](/tasks.md) and the [calendar](/calendar.md).
6. **Progress.** Move candidates through the job's pipeline, and share it with the client in the [Client Portal](/client-portal.md).
7. **Measure.** Review [sequence analytics](/sequence-analytics.md) and the [dashboard](/outreach-dashboard.md), then adjust and repeat.

## How the guided tutorials work

Open **Getting started** in Jobin to see your tutorials.

* **Your next step.** Jobin highlights the first tutorial you haven't finished, with a progress count such as "1 of 3 completed".
* **You do the work.** The tutorial points at the real buttons on screen and tells you what to click. Each one begins by asking you
to open the right section from the sidebar, so you learn where things live.
* **Start, pause, and resume.** Each tutorial shows whether it's **In progress**, **Paused**, or **Completed**. Choose
**Start tutorial**, **Resume tutorial**, or **Restart tutorial**.
* **Choose your own path.** Search the tutorials, or filter them by category: AI Search, Contacts & CRM, Jobs & ATS, Outreach, and Reporting.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The tutorials use your real data. Anything you create, such as a job or a sequence, stays in your workspace, and a launched sequence starts real outreach.

## Browse the guides

When you want to go deeper, the guides in the sidebar cover each area of Jobin: sourcing, candidate management, clients and companies, jobs,
outreach, tasks and reminders, analytics and reports, and settings and admin.

Looking for a quick answer to a specific question, such as how to import a CSV or update profiles automatically? See the [How-to guides](/how-to.md).

## What's next

When you've finished your first steps, connect Jobin to the tools you already use.

> **[Integrations](/integrations.md)**
>
> Connect your calendar, email, automation tools, and more.

> **[Jobin MCP](/jobin-mcp.md)**
>
> Work with your contacts and sequences from ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex.
