# How to connect Zapier to Jobin

> Connect Zapier to Jobin from the Integrations page with its own API key, and set up your Zaps.

To connect Zapier to Jobin, click **Connect** on the **Zapier** card on the **Integrations** page, create an API key, and use it in your Zapier webhook actions.

Zapier connects the tools you use to each other. Connect it to Jobin from the Integrations page, then build your Zaps in Zapier.

## What this gets you

* Zapier gets its own API key for your workgroup, so you can delete it without affecting your other tools.
* You build the triggers and actions in Zapier, and monitor them in your Zap history.

## What it does

Connecting Zapier creates an API key for it on the **Zapier** card. You set up the rest in Zapier: its triggers, actions, and Zap history.

Jobin's contacts export currently offers two destinations, **CSV File** and **Make.com**. Zapier isn't a separate export
option. To send contacts out of Jobin to another automation tool, see [Connect Make.com](/connect-make.md).

## Before you begin

* A Zapier account.
* A Jobin account. Connections belong to the workgroup where you create them, so connect Zapier in the workgroup you want to use.

## Connect Zapier

**1. Create an API key**

Open [Jobin integrations](https://my.jobin.cloud/workgroups/integrations) and click **Connect** on the **Zapier** card.
Enter an **API Key Label**, click **Generate API Key**, and copy the key. Jobin shows it only once.

**2. Use the key in Zapier**

Use your API key in your Zapier webhook actions.

**3. Set up triggers and actions**

Set up the triggers and actions in your Zaps.

**4. Test and publish**

Test your Zap before you publish it.

**5. Monitor it**

Check your Zap history for any issues.

## Manage the connection

The connection appears on the **API Keys** tab. To disconnect, delete the key. See [API keys](/integrations-api-keys.md).

## Troubleshooting

> **My Zap doesn't run**
>
> Check that the Zap is published and review your Zap history in Zapier for errors.

> **I lost my API key**
>
> Jobin shows the key only once. Delete the key on the **API Keys** tab, create a new one, and update your Zaps.

## Ideas to get more from it

* Give each automation its own key, so you can revoke one at a time.
* Test every Zap before you publish it.
