# How to connect Google Calendar to Jobin

> See your Google Calendar in Jobin next to your tasks, link events to contacts, and schedule candidate meetings without switching apps.

To connect Google Calendar to Jobin, open the **Integrations** page, click **Connect Google** under **Workspace connections**, and approve calendar access.

Connect Google to bring your calendar into Jobin. Connect an account once and reuse it across Jobin workflows.

## What this gets you

* Your meetings and your recruiting tasks appear together, so you plan your day in one place.
* You can link calendar events to contacts, and schedule candidate meetings from Jobin with your availability checked for you.
* Private events stay private.

## What it does

Google covers **calendar**. After you connect an account:

* **Your Google Calendar events appear in Jobin.** They show alongside your Jobin tasks and calls, labelled **Google Calendar** so you can tell where each one came from.
* **You can link calendar events to contacts.**
* **Private events stay private.** Events you mark as private in Google aren't shown to your workgroup.
* **Jobin keeps events up to date.** Calendar accounts show when they last synced, and you can sync on demand with **Sync now**.

Synced events are edited in Google Calendar, and you can't delete them from Jobin.

## Before you begin

* A Jobin account and a Google account with a calendar.
* Permission to approve calendar access for that Google account.

## Connect your account

**1. Open Integrations**

Open [Jobin integrations](https://my.jobin.cloud/workgroups/integrations) and stay on the **All Integrations** tab.

**2. Click Connect Google**

Find **Google** under **Workspace connections** and click **Connect Google**.

**3. Approve access**

Sign in with Google and approve the calendar access Jobin asks for.

**4. Check the result**

The account appears under **Google** with a **Calendar** chip and a **Connected** status.

To connect another Google account, click **Add account**.

## After you connect

Open the account's **⋯** menu to **Sync now**, **Reconnect**, **Share with this workgroup**, or **Disconnect**.
See [Connected accounts](/integrations-accounts.md) for what each does, what the statuses mean, and how sharing works.

## Troubleshooting

> **Events look out of date**
>
> Open the account's **⋯** menu and choose **Sync now**.

> **The account says Reconnect needed**
>
> Google access expired. If you own the account, click **Reconnect** and sign in again.

> **I can't edit or delete a synced event in Jobin**
>
> That's expected. Synced events are managed in Google Calendar.

## Ideas to get more from it

* Connect every calendar you use, so availability checks are accurate.
* Use **Sync now** before a busy day if events look out of date.
