# How to connect CoRecruit (formerly Quil) to Jobin

> Sync meeting notes from CoRecruit (formerly Quil), an AI notetaker for recruiting agencies, into Jobin with an API key, so you stop copying notes by hand.

To connect CoRecruit to Jobin, click **Connect** on the **CoRecruit** card on the **Integrations** page (it may still be labelled **Quil.ai**), create an API key, add it in CoRecruit's settings, and turn on note synchronization.

CoRecruit, formerly Quil, is an AI notetaker for recruiting agencies. Connect it to Jobin with an API key so your meeting
notes can reach the candidates and clients you work with.

> [!NOTE]
>
> CoRecruit was previously called Quil, or Quil.ai. Jobin's Integrations page may still label its card **Quil.ai**. It's the same product.

## What this gets you

* Meeting notes can reach your contacts without being copied over by hand.
* Recording and transcription stay in CoRecruit, while Jobin holds the CRM record.

## What it does

* **Syncs meeting notes automatically.** Turn on automatic note synchronization in CoRecruit so notes from your meetings don't
have to be copied over by hand.
* **Uses your meeting transcription settings.** CoRecruit handles recording and transcription, and you configure how in CoRecruit.
* **Connects through Jobin's API.** Notes can be added to a contact through the API. See
  [Create a contact note](/api-reference/contacts/create-contact-note.md).

The settings that control what CoRecruit syncs, and when, live in CoRecruit. See CoRecruit's own documentation for them.

## Before you begin

* A CoRecruit account.
* A Jobin account. API keys belong to the workgroup where you create them, so create yours in the workgroup that holds the contacts you want notes on.

## Connect CoRecruit

**1. Create an API key**

Open [Jobin integrations](https://my.jobin.cloud/workgroups/integrations) and click **Connect** on the **CoRecruit** card
(it may still be labelled **Quil.ai**). Enter an **API Key Label**, click **Generate API Key**, and copy the key.
Jobin shows it only once.

**2. Add the key in CoRecruit**

Configure your API key in your CoRecruit settings.

**3. Turn on note synchronization**

Enable automatic note synchronization.

**4. Set up transcription**

Configure your meeting transcription settings.

**5. Test it**

Test with a sample meeting recording.

## Manage the connection

The connection appears on the **API Keys** tab. To disconnect, delete the key. CoRecruit stops syncing to Jobin immediately.
See [API keys](/integrations-api-keys.md).

## Troubleshooting

> **Notes aren't arriving in Jobin**
>
> Check that automatic note synchronization is on in CoRecruit and that the API key is the one from this workgroup.
> You can check it with [Validate API key](/api-reference/authentication/validate-api-key.md).

> **I can't find the CoRecruit card**
>
> Look for **Quil.ai** under **More integrations**. Jobin may not have renamed the card yet.

> **I lost my API key**
>
> Jobin shows the key only once. Delete the key on the **API Keys** tab, create a new one, and update CoRecruit.

## Ideas to get more from it

* Test the connection with a sample meeting recording before you rely on it.
* Delete the key on the **API Keys** tab if you ever need to stop syncing.
